9. Is your insulation is fire retardant & is it ok to install where we have spotlights?
Although our insulation rolls are fire retardant, It is generally not safe to install polyester insulation over spotlights, as this can create a fire hazard. Spotlights can generate a significant amount of heat, and if the insulation is in direct contact with the lights, it can become overheated and potentially catch fire.
If you need to install insulation near spotlights, it is important to ensure that there is at least 3 inches of clearance between the insulation and the lights. This will help to prevent overheating and reduce the risk of fire.
